4. University of Oulu Masters Scholarships for International Students
The University of Oulu, Finland Scholarships are provided to academically talented international students. Students studying for a Master’s degree must pay the full tuition fee. However, scholarships are available which can cover up to 100% of the tuition fee.

Postdoctoral Researcher positions have a salary equivalent to a requirement level 5 euro-denominated salary (3326, 61 €/ month) and personal performance level of 4 euro-denominated salaries (2 748€/ month). The number of scholarship awards is limited to five recipients per year.
5. Protein Science International Masters Scholarship at University of Oulu Finland
The University of Oulu in Finland is offering a scholarship for international students who are interested in studying protein science. The application deadline is 15 December through 29 January. There is a limited number of scholarships available, so interested students should apply as soon as possible. The application period will be in the spring, and the scholarship is only for international students who have been accepted to study at the University of Oulu.

A Protein Science International Master’s Scholarship Program has also been established by the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine to provide scholarships to academically talented international students pursuing an international master’s degree in Protein Science and Biotechnology at the University of Oulu. International degree students who begin their studies in the autumn semester are exempt from paying tuition.

The UNU-WIDER PhD Internship allows registered doctoral students to use UNU-resources WIDER’s and facilities for their PhD dissertation or thesis research, as well as collaborate with UNU-WIDER researchers on mutually beneficial projects. PhD interns create one or more research articles and give a session on their results during their stay in Helsinki. PhD interns may be able to have their research published in the WIDER Working Paper Series.

UNU-WIDER provides a travel grant to cover travel costs to and from your PhD granting institution, medical insurance (for medical and hospital services resulting from illness or accident while at UNU-WIDER), and a monthly stipend of EUR 1,600 to cover living expenses in Helsinki during the internship period. What is the Cost of Studying in Finland?
You must pay tuition fees for bachelor’s and master’s level programs taught in English if you are from outside the EU/EEA. There may be some exceptions. Tuition costs are not levied at the PhD level, regardless of country.
